Turkey’s economic confidence strengthens in November

(MENAFN) Economic confidence in Türkiye strengthened in November, rising 1.3% to reach 99.5, as stated by official data released Thursday.

Reports indicated that all five major components of the index showed growth during the month.

Retail trade confidence edged up by 0.9%, while sentiment within the real sector improved by 1.2%. The construction industry also saw a 1.5% boost, and the services sector recorded a 1% lift.

Consumer confidence posted the strongest gain, increasing by 1.6%.

The broader economic confidence index—which measures general sentiment across multiple sectors—ranges from 0 to 200. Readings above 100 reflect an optimistic view of overall economic conditions, whereas figures below that threshold signal a more cautious or negative outlook.
